« Maison des Femmes 21 » Association

The fund raising evening on 14 December last year at the Clos de Vougeot was vital for the association’s project and the generosity of all who took part will greatly help the unit to continue to improve the patient’s well-being.

Our aim is to provide an environment as warm as possible so as to alleviate the pain of those who have been faced with violence and help them to recover from the trauma they have experienced.

The unit within the Dijon hospital CHU will be able to admit in its Benigne-Joly clinic in nearby Talant, all women who are victims of violence and give them the necessary assistance and support (medical , psychological, social, legal) as well as a range of treatments according to each individual case (sexual, hygiene etc) ; the unit maintains a campaign against sexual mutilation , prevention but also with means to remedy.
Admissions for this unit are coordinated with regional services such as ARS (health),the departmental and town councils (Dijon and Talant), police and justice authority and other partners in the area.

We are sincerely, very grateful to all the members of the FevB (Businesswomen in Burgundy Wine ) association for their goodwill and energy which has made our achievement possible.

The combined action during the sale of Alexandra Lamy, Melanie Doutey and Michael Llodra highly motivated the audience towards our cause concerning female domestic violence as well as heart disease research on behalf of the Cœur & Recherche association , also well promoted by its president during the event.
The subject theme of the evening being women’s health, both associations FevB and Cœur & Recherche, worked hard enthousiastically together to ensure the fund raising evening was a success.
In fact, the event has given strength to our project and we are anxious to begin welcoming the first women who need to improve their health and those who need protection from violence.
